Special Initiatives

Too Small To Fail

Lycoming County United Way is thrilled to partner with the Clinton Foundation and the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy to expand our network’s community-driven approach to supporting early literacy and reading at grade level. This partnership speeds up and expands our impact for the youngest learners, when every day counts for once-in-a-lifetime gains around brain development and literacy skill-building. We are excited to launch this work in 2025 and expanding in the years ahead!

Kidz Klozet

Every child deserves the ability to focus on their education without the challenge of finding clothes, hygiene products, or other items they need to succeed. Our Kidz Klozet initiative aims to provide essential everyday items to children in need, partnering with school nurses and staff to start a resource closet within the school. These products are then distributed to children in need right in their schools. For more information on Kidz Klozet, please contact us.
