It’s the Season of Giving and we wanted to feature a few of our Program Partners and the impact they’re making in our community. We also wanted to reflect on the value of our donors and why we need to work together to fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. We are grateful for the many donors who have made their commitments so far.
Our goal remains to help clients 55,000 times next year, but there are a great many needs that will go unmet unless we raise significantly more dollars. You can donate at http://lcuw.org/give/ or by texting LIVEUNITED to 50155. You can help. Will you?
Each day this week, some of our new friends will be sharing how their lives have been impacted by programs funded in part by the Lycoming County United Way. Their stories of despair and hope are powerful and we are grateful for their courage and participation.
American Rescue Workers-Williamsport (ARW) provides emergency shelter, both short and long-term, to individuals and families in our community, along with other social services that focus on hunger and homelessness prevention. David Yost is a shining example of how working together we can make a difference in people’s lives. This is his story.
Thank you for helping us make an impact. Thank you for LIVING UNITED!
