It’s the Season of Giving and we wanted to feature a few of our Program Partners and the impact their making in our community. We also wanted to reflect on the value of our donors and why we need to work together to fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community.
Each day this week, some of our new friends will be sharing how their lives have been impacted by programs funded in part by the Lycoming County United Way. Their stories of despair and hope are powerful and we are grateful for their courage and participation.
North Central Sight Services (NCSS) provides programs and assistance to the blind and visually impaired in several northcentral Pennsylvania counties. Megan Rogers and her son Mason have been helped by NCSS. This is their story.
We are grateful for the many donors who have made their commitments so far. Our goal remains to help clients like Mason 55,000 times next year, but there are a great many needs that will go unmet unless we raise significantly more dollars. You can donate at www.lcuw.org/give or by texting LIVEUNITED to 50155. You can help. Will you?
Thank you for helping us make an impact. Thank you for LIVING UNITED!
